Michael McLaughlin |
Michael is a Singapore Registered Patent Agent, qualified by professional examination to represent clients before the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). Michael is originally from the UK and is also a Chartered Patent Attorney (CPA) and a (qualified) European Patent Attorney (EPA). Michael has an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (UK) and practiced as an Electrical Design Engineer prior to becoming a patent attorney.
Michael has memberships with a number professional associations but is particularly active with the Association of Singapore Patent Agents for which he sits on the Executive Committee. Michael is also a member of the IPOS Examination Committee for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination.

Dr Wolfram Schiweck |
Wolfram is practising IP law since 1997. Main focus of work is the drafting and word-wide prosecution of patent applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical field including opposition and invalidation proceedings and the examination of intellectual property rights' portfolios of companies (due diligence). Due to his long stay in Asia, he is also very familiar with patent prosecution in all Asian countries. He also manages trademark portfolios of his clients. Since 2003 he holds Lectures of Intellectual Property Law at the Technological University of Munich, Germany.
Since 2004 he is Appointed Member of the Examination Board for the Singapore Patent Agents Qualifying Examination, held by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), since 2006 he is Elected member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Singapore Patent Agents (ASPA). |
